Impairment (1.5 hours online self-directed learning course)
This online e-learning course has been refreshed during 2025 and deals with impairment and provides road safety practitioners with an increased knowledge and awareness of how alcohol, cannabis and cocaine impact on road user behaviour, together with the legal implications of using such substances in the road safety context.
The course has been developed based on feedback received from practitioners who have attended other Road Safety GB Academy courses and consists of 3 x 30 minute e-learning modules. These highly interactive modules will provide a road safety practitioner with an increased understanding of:

- Possible countermeasures.
