  • The use and limitations of the Stat 19/ Crash reporting system
  • How to access and interrogate Department of Transport statistical information
  • How to complete a simple analysis of a data field using Excel*
  • Common statistical terms and processes
  • Methods of communicating data to the audience and trend identification

Who should attend?

The course will be suitable for any road safety practitioner who is new to data analysis or who wants to refresh their skills.  It should be noted this is an introduction and therefore will not be suitable for people who have advanced skills in this area.
