Road Safety Delivery in an Educational Setting
Course outline
This course supports practitioners to deliver effective road safety education within schools and learning environments. It explores how children and young people develop, and how this influences their ability to understand risk and make safer choices.
Participants will consider how to plan and deliver age‑appropriate, engaging sessions, using a range of practical teaching strategies and resources. The course also covers managing group dynamics, maintaining safety during practical activities, and creating inclusive learning environments.
There is a focus on reflecting on practice, helping practitioners to identify what works, adapt their approach, and improve the impact of their sessions over time.
